Join the Future of Digital Work
Be part of the initiative to empower 13,000 digital talents by 2025.
Strategic Initiatives: Talents
Purpose
To enhance the Capiz Talents pipeline and produce an additional 11,000 digital workers by 2025, a comprehensive strategy is essential. First, we will conduct a thorough skills gap assessment with current locators to identify existing discrepancies between current capabilities and future needs. This assessment will inform the creation of targeted Learning Pathways in digital jobs, which will be institutionalized across all senior high schools and colleges in Capiz. Collaboration with academic institutions and national government agencies, such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), will be crucial in pinpointing relevant skills development programs. These programs will be integrated into scholarship opportunities to ensure students are well-prepared. Additionally, implementing robust career guidance and learning pathways will equip Capiz Talents with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful careers in targeted digital fields.
Goal
To achieve the goal of employing 13,000 digital workers by 2025, we will implement a comprehensive strategy that includes conducting a skills gap assessment with current locators to identify and address discrepancies between existing skills and industry needs. Based on these findings, targeted Learning Pathways will be integrated into all senior high schools and colleges in Capiz to align educational outcomes with the digital job market. Collaborating with academic institutions and national agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), we will develop and expand skills development programs, supported by scholarship opportunities for students. Additionally, we will establish a robust career guidance system to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for success in digital careers. This integrated approach aims to bridge skill gaps and ensure that 13,000 digital workers are employed by 2025.
